Email a little about your pet and the portrait you have in mind. We'll discuss photo suitability and whether the requested work is a fit. Please only share photographs you have permission to use.
Agree the details
Scope, price, timing, file format and any revisions are confirmed individually before paid work begins. There's no automatic order when you get in touch.
Review their likeness
For agreed work, a digital proof and likeness review come before final delivery. You'll have an opportunity to raise concerns within the revision terms agreed for your portrait.

What does Paw & Margin do?
We discuss and create custom digital pet portraits from a customer's authorized photograph. Photo suitability and the specific creative approach are reviewed individually. This website explains the service and accepts enquiries by email; it is not a shop.
What kind of photograph works best?
A clear, well-lit photograph at your pet's eye level is a useful starting point. Their face, ears and distinctive markings should be visible. A photo still needs individual review; not every image or request will be suitable. Use your own photograph or one you have permission to have adapted.
How much does a portrait cost, and how long does it take?
There is no fixed price or delivery promise on this site. Scope, price, timing, digital file details and revisions are confirmed individually before you agree to paid work. An enquiry does not reserve a slot or create an order.
Is the example a customer portrait?
No. The example is a clearly labelled digital style study from a licensed stock photograph. It uses photo-based image processing, not manual drawing or generative AI. It is not evidence of a completed commission, a tested workflow for every photo, or a print-ready product.
Can I buy a print or upload a photo here?
No. This is an enquiry-only website with no photo upload, shopping cart or checkout. The service discussed here is digital portrait work. Physical prints and framing are not currently offered. Start with an email; share only the information needed for your enquiry.
What if the work cannot be completed?
If agreed work cannot be fulfilled, payments for unfulfilled work will be refunded. Cancellation and any completed-work charges are considered under the terms agreed before work begins and applicable law. Your statutory consumer rights are not waived. Read the full terms and refund information.
Will you publish my pet's photo?
Not without separate consent. Customer photographs and portraits are not publicly reused as portfolio or marketing material without separate permission. See our privacy information for how enquiries and photographs are handled.
